On the 25th October 2019, 8 of Belize's best chess players met at Caves Branch Jungle Lodge for a casual get together and tournament. The event was organized by Steve Flowers and Alfred Awe with the intention of having a fun and exciting chess camp involving some of the highest ranked chess players in Belize.
Ms Ella Anderson, who has been the biggest supporters of chess in Belize gladly allowed us to host the event at Caves Branch.
